• Assist the Fixed Income Origination team in the day-to-day activities

• Draft market commentaries regularly

• Prepare pitchbooks/proposals and materials as per clients’ ad-hoc requests

• Support the team on execution of fixed income transactions e.g. prepare investor marketing materials

• Maintain timely update of databases for deal list and credentials/accolades

• Conduct financial spreading and analysis for clients

• Work with product owners to prepare presentation materials to senior management on key platform and market updates, including in-depth desktop research and data collection & analysis

• Learn and synthesise Fixed Income product knowledge into requirements that would be sent to the platform development teams

• Understand and transcribe key points in meetings with senior management

• Generate reports, both in excel as well as visualizations tools, to explain market trends and usage statistics

• Support the team in managing and developing DBS\ market leading FIX Marketplace Issuance platform and FIX Core deal management platform

• Contribute to DBS Fixed Income\s growing portfolio Digital Solutions through developing new ideas and concepts

• Eligible to work in HK and available for the whole employment period

• 2nd year to penultimate year university students or university graduates majoring in disciplines including, but not limited to, business administration, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science or business analytics

• Strong command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) as well as ability to perform two-way translation is a must

• Team player with high sense of responsibility, strong drive, multi-tasking ability and attention to details

• Good market sense of equity and bond markets

• Basic accounting and finance knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel), Bloomberg and Chinese word processing

• Basic VBA skills, programming/data visualization skills, knowledge in digitalization/blockchain/Web 3.0 will be a plus
