As a Freelance Online English Teacher at EF Education First, you will be teaching English through our EF Online Classroom, which allows students to study English from all corners of China. Teachers in this position play a key role in our mission, ‘Opening the world through education’. Our teachers begin by delivering group lessons of up to 10 students, with an opportunity to be trained on private one-to-one lessons. In addition, our teachers also deliver high quality written feedback to our students. Freelance Online Teachers enjoy a high degree of flexibility in their role, teaching from the comfort of their homes with a wide range of class times available.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESv Delivering group lessons and private lessons to students through our online learning platformv Using electronic media and EF-developed courseware to teach English efficiently and effectivelyv Evaluating student progress and providing on-going guidance for improvementv Providing high-quality feedback on students’ written submissionsv High level of English proficiencyv Related teaching certificate is required(TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)v Personal desktop or laptop CPU: Must be at least i5 Processor AND 10th Generation or better or Ryzen 3600 or above. No Macs at this time. RAM: 16 GB GPU (Graphics Card): No requirement provided the CPU specs are met Camera: 1080p Resolution (integrated or external)v A headset, a webcam, and a stable Ethernet-based internet connectionv Tech-savvy, self-motivated, and can work independentlyv Availability to actively deliver classes on a monthly basisv Teach flexible hours from homev Obtain TEFL certification on the jobv Attend optional training sessions for ongoing professional developmentv Learn from EF’s International Culturev Gain proficiency in the constantly growing field of online educationPAYFreelance teaching rates are between 40 RMB to 80 RMB per class。
