  A: I’ve read your resume and know a lot of things about your qualifications for this position. One thing you didn’t mention is why you left your last job? I know the company you worked for is a good company.

  B: yes, it’s a good company. But the management changed last month. We didn’t get along, so I quit.

  A: I understand. Why would you like to join our company?

  B: I’m qualified for this position. And I’ve heard a lot of good things about your company.

  A: Like what?

  B: You take care of your employees. And your company offers good salaries and benefits.

  A: that’s good to know. Why do you think you’re qualified for this position?

  B: I’ve got over seven years’ experience working in this kind of position. I know I can do a good job in this position.

  B: I’m a senior broker in a large company. I deal with clients on a daily basis, handling all aspects of their accounts personally.

  A: Do you think you are the right candidate for this position?

  B: Yes, I do think I am the right candidate for this position.

  A: Why do you think you’re the right candidate for this position?

  B: Well, I have a lot of experience in this area. I have all the qualifications you need. I enjoy working with people. In my current job, I’m in charge of a team of eight people.

  A: Well, you might be the person we’ve been looking for. Do you have any question?

  B: Yes, if I were hired, when would you like me to start?

  A: At the end of this month.

  B: And how many accounts would I handle?

  A: You’ll be supervising six brokers who manage a combined total of 310 accounts.

  B: What kind of benefit package do you offer?

  A: Two weeks of paid vacation in your first year of employment. You’re also eligible for medical and dental insurance. And we offer a generous retirement plan after 10 years of service. Do you have any other questions?

  B: No, not at the moment.

  A: Well, I’ll have to discuss your application with my colleagues, and we’ll get back to you early next week.

  B: Thanks. It was very nice to meet you.

  A: it was nice to meet you, too. And thanks for coming in today.
