About this opportunity
Project Management is a key competence in Ericsson and our professionalism in project management is fundamental to meet customer expectations and enabling the commercial success of Ericsson.
Customer Project Manager responsible to lead project team and also close work with relevant stakeholder to fulfill project target, the major working scope include Cost, Time, Quality, Communication etc key area management. To follow Ericsson Customer Project and Program Management (CPPM) to manage customer project,
Generic Project Methodology used in Ericsson:
XLPM (eXceLlence in Project Management) is based on PROPS which was originally created by Ericsson in 1987, aligned with the PMBok since 1997 and further developed in partnership with SEMCON since 2002 when PROPS was outsourced.
In addition to PM methodology, a heavy focus is put on Lean and Agile principles & ways of working.
What you will do
1. Manage internal and external customer and partner relationships by building confidence and trust with clear professional communications and assured expectation management
2. Establish the project plan baseline: define project scope, secure the necessary resources and supervise all activities
3. Work with project technical expert with basic understanding to break down project deliverables across several delivery teams
4. Develop the business, participate in pre-sales meetings and contract preparation
5. Manage PAC/UAT/FAC and Production releases, and project handover to our support and operational teams
6. Lead your cross-functional and sometimes remote team; ensure their buy-in to common project goals
7. Manage your project P&L and ensure financial system tracking
8. Travel frequency: 20% domestically
You will bring
1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in field of Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Business Management, Project Management or Finance related majors
2. Basic knowledge in Project Management (PMP holder will be a strong plus)
3. Good commercial acumen & financial analysis skills
4. Basic knowledge on Core Network, high passion on new technology, e.g. Machine Learning, AI, cloud etc.
5. Excellent communication, cooperation and collaboration skills
6. Strong sense of responsibility, being self-motivated with strong self-learning skill
7. Proficient level of business English
