BE INVOLVED IN PROMOTING BILATERAL BUSINESS BETWEEN CHINA AND THE PHILIPPINES

The Philippine Trade & Investment Center, Embassy of the Philippines in Beijing, China is recruiting Trade & Investments Promotion Officer (TIPO) to assist in the promotion of business between the Philippines and China.

The TIPO shall be involved in commercial policy, in servicing inquiries on doing business and in the implementation of promotional activities such as seminars, fairs, trade and investment missions, and conduct of information campaigns through various media.

The specific tasks include:

a. Assist in matters of Commercial Policy pertaining to Philippine trade relations with China;

b. Prepare appropriate replies to written, phoned-in and /or electronically rendered inquiries and communications from the Philippines and China, particularly those that pertain to trade policy, trade promotion and investments;

d. Disseminate to relevant Chinese companies, organizations and government agencies various informational materials on the Philippines as well as invitations to trade / investment related activities in the Philippines and in China; including through social media;

e. Assist in coordinating the requirements of Philippine Trade and Investment Missions, Fairs, Seminars, visiting Filipino Businessmen and similar promotional activities

Skills Needed:

· Good communication skills in English and Mandarin

· Proficiency in MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Internet and or social media.

· Preferably with Business English and or Business or Management academic training and experience.

· Familiar with social media & internet platform management and promotion and data research

· Preferable experience & acknowledge of work relation with business associations, industry associations and foreign embassies.

· Degree in business related course is a plus.
